Las tres prerrogativas del cristiano - The three prerogatives of the Christian
22 abr.

The Three Prerogatives of the Christian
Jesus is:
Prophet: announces the Father's word of liberation - Abbà (cf. Lk 4: 18-19).
Priest: he prays with his life offering himself to the Father in deep communion with his people and with all humanity. (cf. Mc 14:22-25).
King: he is a servant for love, he did not come to be served but to serve. (cf. Mc 10:45).
The disciple
By virtue of baptism, becoming part of his body (Church), he is a Prophet, Priest, and King.
Church
Each community, an effective sign, and a prolongation of its presence in the World, is organized from the pastoral point of view, considering the three aspects to build the Kingdom of God.
Prophetic aspect: catechesis for all ("Go for the whole world, teach all peoples" Mt 28:19) to denounce, announce, renounce.
Priestly aspect: liturgy and prayer (Jn 17: Priestly Prayer of Jesus) and Psalm 150: Praise be to God in his sanctuary, every living person praise the Lord!
Real aspect: charity in its various expressions ("God is love" 1 Jn 4:16). Serve God and men. The Church must do it for love and with love.
